FELLSMERE — The children of Fellsmere will get a chance to meet Santa Claus Wednesday Dec. 14 when the jolly elf arrives to town on an airboat. Santa will be handing out bags of goodies and taking requests for gifts in time for the big day.
The Indian River County Airboat Association will bring Santa to the Little League Ball Field, located at the corner of County Road 512 and Broadway, at 6 p.m.
The event is sponsored by several businesses and organizations, including the Indian River County Airboat Association, Sawgrass Welding and Repair, Sun Ag, Garcia’s Bakery, Fellsmere Feed Tack and Farm Supply, Rodney and Tanya Tillman, Oculina Bank, Gator Sod, Trav’s Tire and Auto, Sportsman Specialties, Custom Air Conditioning, Fellsmere Country Store, Bait Bucket, Fellsmere Chevron, Hatleys Lawn Care, Marsh Landing Restaurant, Ditch 13 Gifts, Bulldog Auto Sales, Giuseppe’s Restaurant, Garcia Discount Tire, Feldner’s Etch Glass Studio, El Rancito, Produce Gomez, Stick Marsh Bait and Tackle, Pamela’s Place, Exchange Club, Fellsmere Beautification, and the City of Fellsmere.
