Eddie Lee McGriff, 91, died Nov. 7, 2011, at Consulate Health Care in Vero Beach.
He was born in Quincy and lived in Vero Beach since the 1940s, coming from his birthplace.
Before his retirement, he worked as a courier for Citrus Bank.
He was a parishioner at Mount Sinai Baptist Church.
Survivors include his son, Donald Phillips; brother, Ulysses McGriff; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorethea; brothers, Paul James, Harry and James; sisters, Mattie Ruth Glinton and Mary Joiner.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Nov. 11 at Mount Sinai Baptist Church in Gifford.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Nov. 12 at the church.
Interment will follow at Gifford Cemetery.
