Douglas Charles “Doug” Elliott, 68, died Nov. 23, 2011, at his home.
He was born in Beverly, Mass., and lived in Sebastian for eight years, coming from Ipswich, Mass.
He was the owner/operator of Elliott Fuel Co.
He served in the Navy during the Vietnam War.
He was a member of the Rotary Club, Ipswich.
Survivors include his wife of 11 years, Sharon Elliott of Sebastian; sons, Douglas C. Elliott Jr. and Douglas M. Saunders, both of Ipswich; daughters, Kimberly Lambrose of Rowley, Mass., and Melissa Jaworski of Ipswich; sisters, Deb Cotton of Tenants Harbor, Maine, Melinda Pepper of Ojai, Calif., and Lisa Logston; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Sharon Rae Elliott.

At the request of the family, no services will be conducted locally.
