Terry Richmond, 61, died Oct. 2, 2011, at his home.
He was born in Gastonia, N.C., and lived in Vero Beach for 51 years, coming from his birthplace.
He served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War.
Before retirement in 2003, he was employed by the U.S. Postal Service in Vero Beach, main branch. He attended Central Assembly of God in Vero Beach.
He attended Indian River Community College.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Janice Richmond of Vero Beach; daughters, Joyce Shor and Angie Owl, both of Vero Beach; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, J.D. Richmond and Evelyn Dow Richmond.

A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Oct. 6 at Central Assembly of God in Vero Beach, with the Rev. Buddy Tipton officiating.
