FELLSMERE — The US Merchant Marines and US Navy Armed Guard veterans who served in World War II will meet Oct. 15 at Marsh Landing in Fellsmere at 9 a.m.
There will be an open menu and everyone is welcome.
The speaker will be Walter Brown. He wanted to get in the US Navy so bad that he lied about being only 15 years old when he enlisted.
Brown saw service all over the world, thanks to the US Navy.
