Phyllis Mary Teresa O’Connor “Babs” Dahlman, 93, died Oct. 5, 2011.
She was born in London and lived in Cincinnati, and was formerly of Vero Beach.
She was a secret operative for England during World War II with Special Operations Executive.
She carried out many missions, some that included parachuting from airplanes into occupied France and memorizing and decoding orders.
She was a member of Special Operations Executive (World War II), International Group of Wyoming, and a founding member of the UnQuotes Book Club.
Survivors include her husband, Donald Dahlman, of Cincinnati; children, Teresa Ruch, of Cleveland, Patricia Dahlman, of Lyndhurst, N.J., and Martin Dahlman, of Pataskala, Ohio; and four grandchildren.

Visitation with the family and a memorial service took place in Cincinnati.
