Alfred Allen Bagshaw, 83, died Oct. 21, 2011, at VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
He was born in Henryville, Ind., and lived in Wabasso for 52 years, coming from Henryville.
He worked as a machinist for Piper Aircraft for 28 years before retirement.
He was a member of First Baptist Church of Fellsmere.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Mae Bagshaw.
Survivors include his stepdaughter, Joyce Edwards, of Vero Beach; brother, Donald Bagshaw, of Taylorsville, Ky.; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 10 to 10:30 a.m. Oct. 26 at Strunk Funeral Home in Vero Beach, following by a funeral service with the Rev. Billy Edwards officiating.
Burial in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Fort Pierce, will follow.
