VERO BEACH — The Diva Gets a Modern Makeover is slated for Thursday, Nov. 3 from 5:30 to 8 p.m., to benefit Children’s Home Society of Florida, Treasure Coast Division.
CHS programs are developed to break the cycle of child abuse and provide children and young adults with the opportunity to be safe, healthy and prepared for life.
This evening presents a great opportunity for women to bring their gal pals out for the night to enjoy great food, drinks and exclusive discounts. It’s a fun evening out at a small price and for a good cause – to benefit the community’s most vulnerable children that are in foster care.
For this one exclusive evening Talulah’s Boutique, at 2101 Indian River Blvd. in Modern One Plaza, will be transformed into an after-hours, exclusive shopping hot spot featuring champagne and noshes in a covered garden setting, exclusive discounts, ambush makeovers, gift prize drawings and Chinese auction.
Donations of $10 each will be accepted for prize drawing tickets to win a head-to-toe makeover. The first 45 guests will receive gift bags full of goodies and arrivals before 6 p.m. are eligible to win on-the-spot makeovers and door prizes.
Admission tickets are $20 and available in advance at Seacoast National Bank and Talulah’s Boutique and at the door.
For ticket holders, Faith, Hope & Chocolate will offer a chocolate tasting, Cork Wine Bar will offer discounted drinks all night and Havana Cigar Club will be open to provide a gentlemen’s sanctuary.
For singles, a Heart to Heart Single Mingle at Cork Wine Bar with live entertainment will immediately follow the Diva event.
A $15 donation cover charge to benefit Children’s Home Society includes a complimentary drink and a silent auction that includes a romantic getaway, wine and eligible bachelors from 8 to 9 p.m.
