VERO BEACH — The Gifford Youth Activity Center is having a public Open House on Thursday Oct. 13 from 6 to 7 pm. This event is an opportunity for anyone from the Indian River County Community to come out to participate in a “red carpet” tour of the facility and meet the staff and teachers.
Guests will learn about GYAC’s history and the great things happening in The After School Program. This is also a special opportunity for parents, who are looking for academic help or educational enrichment for their children, to hear first-hand about the great services offered at the Center. Community members who would like to get involved with the program are most welcome to attend this activity. Everyone is invited to enjoy an Ice Cream Social immediately following the Open House.
The event is hosted by the Parent & Guardian Association of GYAC. The GYAC Parent Guardian Association provides positive support to parents and guardians of students enrolled in the GYAC After School Enrichment Program. The Gifford Youth Activity Center is more than an after school program and a United Way Agency, located at 4875 43rd Avenue in Vero Beach.
