Billy D. Moss, 81, died Friday, Sept. 23, 2011, at his home.
He was born in Burlington, Iowa, and lived in Vero Beach for 20 years, coming from Pompano Beach.
Before retiring, he was a pilot with United Airlines.
He served in the Air Force.
Survivors include a sister, Kay Johnston, of Walnut Creek, Calif.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Eloise Strauser Moss.
Interment will be at South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth. Arrangements are by Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory.
