Edith Elaine Munro, 79, died Aug. 16, 2011, at her home.
She was born in Boston Mass., and lived in Sebastian for 32 years, coming from Lexington, Ky.
Before retirement in 1996, she worked as a waitress at the Vero Beach Inn, Duke Snider’s and Bono’s restaurant.
Survivors include her son, Eric S. Munro, of Sebastian; daughter, Debby Munro, of Sebastian; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eric Milton Munro; and son, William K. Munro.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Aug. 22 at Strunk Funeral Home in Sebastian, followed by a service at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. John M. Kerry officiating.
Burial will be in Sebastian Cemetery.
