Virginia T. Price, 86, died Aug. 27, 2011, at Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.
She was born in Newark, N.J., and lived in Vero Beach for four years, coming from Fort Pierce.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Lakewood Park, and volunteered at the church and Indian River Medical Center.
Survivors include her daughter, Gerri Shinn, of Barefoot Bay; and son, Steven Price, of Frasier, Colo.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Vero Beach Humane Society, 6230 77th St., Vero Beach, FL 32967.
Services will be announced at a later date.
