John Robert Dinello, 84, of Sebastian, died Sunday, Aug. 14, 2011, at home.
He was born Oct. 1, 1926, in West Haven, Conn., and moved to Sebastian 32 years ago from Coral Springs.
Dinello owned DiNello floor covering business in Florida and Connecticut for 60 years, belonged to St. Sebastian Catholic Church, and coached Little League Baseball in Sebastian.
He was a World War II Army veteran and belonged to the VFW, Am Vets and was a past president of the Italian American club in Sebastian.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Grace DiNello, of Sebastian; sons Robert J. DiNello, of Margate and Christopher J. DiNello, of Savannah, Ga.; daughter Marigrace DiNello, of Cocoa Beach; one grandchild; two brothers James and Ralph DiNello; and three sisters Elsie Calandro, Anna DeNora, and P. Mary Baccki.
He was predeceased by brothers Alec, Anthony, Philip, and Pat, and sister Millie.
