Darius Rigby, 93, died Aug. 17, 2011.
He was born in the Bahamas, and moved to Indian River County 44 years ago, coming from the Bahamas.
Survivors include his sons, William A. Rigby, Ardra K. Rigby and Ronald C. Rigby, all of Wabasso; daughters, Rutha M. Lumpkin, of Hinesville, Wanda V. Holiday, of Fort Lauderdale, Argatha L. Gilmore, of Lake City, Janci T. Dorsey, of Tampa and Barbara J. Rigby, of Clarke, N.Y.; 19 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Aug. 26 at Jones Temple in Vero Beach.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Aug. 27 at St. Peter’s Missionary Baptist Church.
Burial will follow at Wabasso Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Hortense/Mills Memorial Funeral Home, Vero Beach.
