Thomas Patrick Harris, 74, of Sebastian, died on Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2011, at Sebastian River Medical Center.
Harris was born Jan. 17, 1937, in the Bronx, N.Y., and moved to Sebastian 13 years ago from St. Augustine.
He was a police officer with the Pompano Beach Police Department.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Martha Jo Harris, of Sebastian; sons Thomas Patrick Harris, of Parkland, Timothy Leigh Harris, of Lake Worth, Edward Jerry Harris, of West Palm Beach and Terrance James Harris, of Maryville, Tenn.; three granddaughters; and sister Patricia Ann Mule’, of Central Islip, N.Y.
