Janice Fay Gruenschlaeger, 73, died Aug. 10, 2011, at Sebastian River Medical Center, Roseland.
She was born in Clay County, Ky., and lived in Sebastian for five years, coming from Marion, Ind.
Before retirement, she was a buyer for Pogues retail store and worked for CITA in Ohio.
She also was a homemaker.
She volunteered at McLarty Treasure Museum at Sebastian River State Park and was a Kentucky colonel.
Survivors include her husband, Ron Gruenschlaeger, of Sebastian; son, Michael Huber, of Hamilton, Ohio; daughter, Michelle Smallwood, of Punta Gorda; stepdaughters, Connie Frost, of Hamilton and Nicole Hawk, of Fort Recovery, Ohio; stepson, Alan Gruenschlaeger, of Hamilton; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the McLarty Treasure Museum, 13180 State Road A1A, Vero Beach, FL 32963.
A memorial service will be private.
