Roger Alix Gabart Dejean, 28, Vero Beach

Roger Alix Gabart Dejean, 28, died Aug. 26, 2011, at his home.

He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and lived in Vero Beach since 2001, coming from Port St. Lucie.

He was a landscaper.

Survivors include his parents, Carole and Roger Alix Dejean, of Vero Beach; brothers, Stephane Dejean, of Brooklyn and Edward Dejean, of Ft. Lauderdale; sisters, Mary Alix Dejean, Regina Dejean and Danielle Dejean, all of New York, and Vicky Dejean Gilbert, of Fort Lauderdale; and maternal grandparents, Renee and Lionel Jean Jacques, of Port St. Lucie.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Sept. 2, with a wake service at 6:30 p.m. at Yates Funeral Home & Crematory in Port St. Lucie.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 22 a.m. Sept. 3 at Notre Dame Mission Catholic Church in Fort Pierce, with burial to follow at White City Cemetery.
