Rosemary T. (Nourse) Empoliti, 80, of Sebastian, formerly of Norwell and Plymouth , Mass., died Monday, Aug. 8, 2011.
She was the daughter of the late Charles I. and Rose V. Nourse.
Empoliti was a registered nurse after graduating from the Cambridge City Hospital School of Nursing.
She was an avid quilter and belonged to quilting clubs in Massachusetts and Florida.
Empoliti donated many of her quilts to Quilts of Valor and Project Linus.
She also volunteered with the American Red Cross.
Empoliti was preceded in death by her husband, Edward R. Empoliti.
Survivors include her children, Mina Lise Wilson and her husband Gerald, of Westerville, Ohio; Mark Empoliti and his wife Joanne, of Pembroke, Mass.; Michele DeLuca and her husband Mark, also of Pembroke, Mass.; Michael Empoliti, of Sebastian; her sister Thomasina (Nourse) Peters, of Georgetown, Mass.; and grandchildren Sarah, Amy, Charles and Nicole Wilson and Brian and Joseph Empoliti.
A funeral mass will be held at St. Sebastian Catholic Church in Sebastian on Saturday, Sept. 3, 2011, at 10 a.m.
