Edward Joseph LaBranche, 73, of Sebastian, died on Thursday, July 21, 2011, at his home.
He was born Nov. 5, 1937, in Springfield, Mass., and moved to Sebastian 11 years ago from West Springfield, Mass.
LaBranche worked at Hamilton Standard in Windsor Locks, Conn., and the Kolmorgan Corporation in Northampton, Mass., prior to his self employment as an engineer document specialist.
He belonged to the Elks and the Moose.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Helen LaBranche, of Sebastian; eight children Mark Edward, Kathy, Mark Wesley, Danny, Eric, Jeff, Nita, and E.J.; 15 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and two sisters Barbara and Sue.
Services will be held in Chicopee, Mass.
Arrangements are under the direction of Seawinds Funeral Home & Crematory, Sebastian, FL.
