Dale Hoggatt, 48, died July 16, 2011, at VNA/Hospice House in Vero Beach.
He was born in Vero Beach and had been a lifetime resident.
He received an associate of science degree in electrical engineering and worked for 16 years as a plant engineer for the Vero Beach Power Plant.
Survivors include his wife of 17 years, Kim Hoggatt, of Vero Beach; son, Sean Hoggatt, of Vero Beach; mother, Eugenie Hoggatt, of Vero Beach; brother, Kevin Von Hartman, of Fort Pierce; and sisters, Judy Bartlett and Earlene Baptiste, both of Vero Beach.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. July 30 with a celebration of life at 7 p.m. at Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home in Vero Beach.
