Florence M. Blitz, 91, of Vero Beach, died Saturday, June 25, 2011, at VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
Blitz was born July 16, 1919, in Springfield, Mass., and has been a resident of Vero Beach for 11 years.
She worked as an administrative secretary for the Chief of Operations at Miami International Airport for 10 years, before retiring in 1970.
She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Louis Blitz.
Survivors include her daughter, Anita Diane Lasswell, of Vero Beach; son, Kenneth M. Blitz, of Miami; and two grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, June 30, 2011, at Beth EL Memorial Park, Old Dixie Highway, 1 mile N. of Indrio Road, Fort Pierce.
