Sandra Joan Buckingham, 72, died June 23, 2011, at VNA Hospice House, Vero Beach.
She was born in Lewiston, Maine, and lived in Vero Beach for 34 years, coming from Auburn, Maine.
Buckingham was employed by Indian River Medical Center for 30 years.
She was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church and former member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, Vero Beach.
Survivors include her son, Scott Buckingham, of Avondale Estates, Ga.; daughters, Kelly Lupo, Tracy Washburn and Bambi Gonzalez, all of Vero Beach; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sister Rita Samson and brother Robert Coture.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m., June 29, 2011, at Strunk Funeral Home, Vero Beach.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., June 30, 2011, at St. Helen Catholic Church.
Interment will follow in Crestlawn Cemetery, Vero Beach.
