Paul Ried Baird II, 56, of Vero Beach, died May 1, 2011, at Hospice of West Palm Beach.
Baird was born in Augusta, Ga., and has lived in Vero Beach for three years, coming from Jacksonville. Baird held a master’s degree in divinity, an advocate for the Diabetes Association and a motivation speaker for Global Relations International and Dale Carnegie.
He was an executive recruiter for Liberty Insurance in New York.
Baird was an active member of the Myrtle Beach Shag Community.
Survivors include his daughters; Allison Baird, of North Carolina and Tammy Baird, of Chicago, Ill.; son, Paul Ried Baird III and his wife Kathryn, of Ohio; former wife Laura Baird, of North Carolina; grandchildren, Mercedes Baird, Alvin Baird, Jaidyn Baird and Jordyn Baird; mother, Bobbie Eichmann, of Vero Beach; sister, Terry Baird, of Vero Beach; and many aunts, cousins and uncles from Matthews, N.C.
Baird will be loved and missed very much by all.

A visitation will be held 3:30 p.m., May 4, 2011 at Strunk Funeral Home, Vero Beach with a memorial service following at 4:00 p.m., at the funeral home with the Rev. Paul Baird III officiating.
