Victoria Agnes Kawas, 96, died April 29, 2011, at Royal Palm Convalescent Center, Vero Beach.
She was born in Walla Walla, Wash., and lived in Sebastian for 31 years, coming from Miami. She was a member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Karen M. (Rene) VanDeVoorde, of Sebastian; grandson and his wife, Rene (Nicole) VanDeVoorde, III, of Cincinnati, Ohio; granddaughter and her husband, Cynthia VanDeVoorde (G. Martin) Hall, of Sebastian, granddaughter, Rachel VanDeVoorde, of Brooklyn, N.Y.; great-granddaughters, Julianna and Eleanor Hall; great grandson, Oliver VanDeVoorde.
She was preceded in death by her son, Harold Kawas.

Visitation will be held 5 – 7 p.m. on May 3, 2011, at Strunk Funeral Home, Sebastian.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on May 4, 2011, at St. Sebastian Catholic Church with Father John Morrissey, celebrant.
Burial will be at Sebastian Cemetery, Sebastian.
