Philmore Clark “P.C.” Fox, 95, died May 12, 2011, at the Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.
He was born in Greenwood, Va., and lived in Vero Beach since 2005, coming from Auburndale, where he and his family had lived since 1953.
Before retiring, he worked for Continental Can Co. and the city of Auburndale.
He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in the Quartermaster Corps.
He was a member of the St. Alban’s Episcopal Church in Auburndale.
Survivors include his daughters, Pattie Smith of Crawfordville and Helen Tasker, of Vero Beach; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Fox; and special friend, Lillian Dull.
