Chester E. “Chet” Knoll, died April 6, 2011, at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.
He was born in Philadelphia, Pa., and lived in Vero Beach for 38 years, coming from Seven Hills, Ohio.
He was a graduate of Fordson High School, Dearborn, Mich.
Knoll earned a bachelor’s degree from Barry University, Ft. Pierce.
He owned and operated A1 Used Appliance, Ft. Pierce for 15 years.
Knoll later worked for Scripps Howard and the United Parcel Service.
Survivors include his son, Douglas “Dak” Knoll, of Fort Pierce; mother, Louise Knoll, of Vero Beach; sister, Joi Koss, of Vero Beach and his former wife, Sharman Mullins.
Memorial contributions may be made to Asbury United Methodist Church, 1708 43rd Ave., Vero Beach, FL 32960.
Memorial Service will be held 11 a.m. on April 9, 2011, at Asbury United Methodist Church Vero Beach with Rev. John M. Kerry and Rev. Diego Flores of Asbury United Methodist Church officiating.
Interment will be in Asbury United Methodist Church Memorial Garden at a later date.
