VERO BEACH — The Indian River County Chamber of Commerce, Small Business Development Center and SCORE will offer a free business workshop “Managing Your Business Cash” on Wednesday, February 16, 9:30 am to 11:00 am at the Chamber offices.
The workshop will be facilitated by SCORE Counselor Tom Spear. Participants will learn:
• What are the financial schedules and what is in them?
• What are the “tools for analysis” and how are they created?
• What actions can the business owner take to use the tools and manage cash?
Spear has his B.S. Engineering at Case Western Reserve University and MBA at University of Michigan. For 32 years, he held a variety of business and technical positions with Ford Motor Company Product Development, 29 years as an executive. Spear has been an adjunct business instructor at Indian River Community College and is a counselor with SCORE and the Small Business Development Center.
The Indian River County Chamber of Commerce is a county-wide organization representing the business community by providing services, benefits and leadership for positive economic growth and change.
There is no fee to participate in the workshop, but seating is limited and reservations are required.
