VERO BEACH – The Hibiscus Festival Committee welcomes vendor participation in the ever popular Hibiscus Festival-Vero Insurance Marketplace. Vendors of art, fine handicrafts, jewelry, home accessories, lawn and garden services and other merchandise, as well as community and non-profit booths are invited to take part. Fine Art artists are invited to participate in the Juried Fine Art Show. A different application is needed for participation in the two areas; both forms can be downloaded at www.HibiscusFestival.org. The 2011 Hibiscus Festival will be held in historic downtown Vero Beach on Saturday, April 16 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. The Festival continues to grow with last year’s event being attended by over 15,000 visitors. Full Festival hours will be from 9 a.m. until 8:30 p.m. Exhibitor booths will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. while the evening street party runs from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the 14th Avenue Downtown Friday block.
The rental of a 10 ft. by 10 ft. space is $45 per non-profit organization (must show proof of non-profit status), $75 for other vendors (one booth per vendor, no sharing) and $100 for political booths. Electricity is an additional $10 if available. Marketplace booth fees include extensive event publicity. A late fee of $25 will apply to applications received after April 5, 2011.
Please note that there are vendor guidelines for the 2011 Hibiscus Festival. They are detailed in the application forms which are currently being accepted. Make your reservation early to ensure your space and receive all necessary information.
The Festival supports the efforts by the two benefiting sponsors Main Street Vero Beach and Vero Heritage, Inc. The City of Vero Beach and Main Street Vero Beach are the Presenting Sponsors.
