William Henry Perkins, 90, died Dec. 22, 2010, at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.
He was born on Long Island, N.Y., and lived in Vero Beach since 1969, coming from Port Jefferson, N.Y.
Before retirement, he was a service worker for the city of Vero Beach.
He was a member of the American Legion Post 39.
Survivors include his wife, Jeanette; daughters; Elaine Coombs, of Mesa, Ariz., Anna Beck, of Kellogg, Idaho, Suzanne Tyner, of Clearwater, Mary Seldomridge, of Cass, W.Va., and Tamara Hoelke, of Sebastian; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Jan. 14 at South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth.
