Peter C. Reeves, 80, died Dec. 26, 2010, at VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
He was was born in Dulwich, England, and lived in Vero Beach since 1993, coming from Park City, Utah.
He immigrated to the United States in 1957 and joined the Fireman’s Fund Insurance Co. in New York as an ocean marine manager.
Before retirement in 1985, he joined Lawton-Bryne-Bruner Insurance Co. in St. Louis.
He later became partner and executive vice president of the company.
He was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Rita; sons, Timothy and Eric Reeves and William and Michael Hollman; daughter, Laura Baumann; and eight grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at a later date in Chicago.
