VERO BEACH — Spring 2011 registration for the Vero Beach American Little League Baseball will be Friday, January 7, and Thursday and Friday, January 13 and 14 from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. each date, at the Courthouse Executive Center, 2145 14th Avenue. The four baseball divisions are: T-Ball- ages 5 and 6; Coach Pitch- ages 7 and 8; Minors- ages 8 through 11; and Majors- ages 10 through 12. Players must be league age by April 30, 2011 for each division.
Registration fee is $90.
An original birth certificate and three additional forms of proof of residency are required at the time of registration. Proofs of residency may include driver’s license, voter’s registration, insurance documents and medical records. Utility bills, such as electric, water/sewer, phone and waste disposal count as only one of the required records. For a complete list of accepted proofs of residency, visit VeroAmerican.yolasite.com.
Copies of the registration form and medical release are also available on the website for downloading and completion prior to registration.
There will be a mandatory parents meeting on Tuesday, January 18, also at the Courthouse Executive Center.
Try-outs are on Thursday, January 20 for Majors and Friday, January 21 for Minors at J.A. Thompson Field on 18th Street.
Opening Day will be Saturday, February, 5.
