Phyllis D. Duggleby, 72, of Indian River Shores, died Nov. 23, 2010, at VNA Hospice House, Vero Beach.
Born in Moline, Ill., she had been a resident of Indian River Shores for 12 years, coming from her birthplace. She was a graphics illustrator for the federal government for 22 years, until retiring in 1998 and was a member of Museum of Art in Vero Beach.
Survivors include her daughter, Shannan O’Connor, of Fort Pierce; one sister, Janice Thomas, of Phoenix, Ariz.; and her companion, Ken Waul of Indian River Shores.
She was predeceased by her son, Kye David Bernstrom.
Visitation will be Dec. 1 from 10-11 a.m. at the Strunk Funeral Home & Crematory of Vero Beach, where a service to celebrate her life will be held at 11 a.m.
A reception for family and friends will follow at The Plaza, 884 17th Street, Vero Beach.
