Albert Russell Luke, 76, died July 25, 2010, at his residence in Fellsmere.
He was born in Thompsonville, Conn., and lived in Fellsmere for 25 years, coming from Pompano Beach, Fla. He served in the Army during the Korean War and was employed with the Indian River School District for 15 years as their Master Carpenter and Cabinet Maker.
He was of the Catholic Faith. He was a member of the KOC and the VFW in Vero Beach.
He was a yearly volunteer with the Rodeo and the Frog Leg Festival, both located in Fellsmere where he was the cook for many years.
Survivors include his daughters, Sherri Luke and Michelle Luke; brothers, David J. Luke and Gerald J. Luke, both of Enfield, Conn.; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Eleanor Barbero.
