VERO BEACH — Piper Aircraft has announced it will be adding to its worldwide sales force with the establishment of regional sales offices from Vero Beach to Brunei.In all, the company will be filling three positions to serve the Americas, Asia/Pacific and the Europe/Middle East/Africa regions. The Americas office will be located in Vero Beach and the Asia/Pacific office will be in Brunei, where the Piper owners received the financial backing to purchase the company last year. The location of the third office serving the rest of the world is still to be determined.In other Piper news, the company announced this week at an air show in Oshkosh, Wis., it will create a program that will match interested buyers of its planes, by pairing up interested parties. “PiperMatch connects aviators interested in combining their buying power to own a new Piper aircraft at a reduced cost. Under the program, trained PiperMatch specialists work to link aviators with carefully matched co-owner candidates – Piper enthusiasts who share location, financial wherewithal, and have compatible profiles,” the company said in a news release.
