AAUW Vero Beach December Book Review Breakfast

Continental Breakfast followed by a presentation and review of ‘The Creek’ by T.J. Glisson.

Guest speaker: Katherina (Kitty) Palidowa M.H.P. is the Executive Director of Main Street Vero Beach. She was formerly the Program Assistant for the Florida Main Street Program in Tallahassee.

About the Book: This memoir of growing up in the backwoods of north-central Florida spans from the late twenties to the early fifties. The Creek tells of the ornery, independent Crackers who lived by the Cross Creek near Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings.

Open to the public with no charge, but we appreciate donations of new or gently used pre-k books for our young readers project.
