Pamela Starckx, 63, of Reidsville, Ga., died Nov. 19, 2009 at Memorial University Hospital in Georgia.Ms. Starckx was born Sept. 29, 1946 in Red Bay, Ala., and lived most of her adult life in Vero Beach, before retiring to Reidsville in 2006. She was a secretary at the Indian River Auto Salvage Company for 30 years. A mother of four, she always provided a home and a place to go for her family and friends that needed a helping hand. She committed her life to her children and loved having them with her. She is survived by children Laura, Lisa, Michelle and Michael; sisters Teresa and Connie; brother Steven; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents Kathryn and Luther “Mac” McCluskey.The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m., on Nov. 27 at Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. at on Nov. 28 the funeral home, followed by interment at 2 p.m. at Deerfield Memorial Cemetery in Deerfield Beach.
