VERO BEACH — “In Deed” is the title of the Indian River Genealogical Society’s meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 10. Guest speaker Connie Bradish promises to engage and surprise the audience as she helps IRGS members and guests learn how to glean genealogical information from property records.
Bradish has a Masters Degree in botany and taught college biology for 22 years. She has had a life-long interest in genealogy and has co-authored approximately 40 articles for Everton’s Genealogical Helper. Last season she spoke to IRGS about using DNA for genealogical research.
IRGS meetings are held on second Tuesdays, September through May, at 9:30 a.m. in the large first floor meeting room of the Indian River County Main Library. Following a brief business session and snacks, the program will begin at 10:45 a.m. All general meetings of the society are free and open to the public.
