VERO BEACH — Disco reigned supreme at the Vero Beach Museum of Art on Saturday night. For the last six years, the Museum has proven that Veroites love a good costume party – especially when it comes with a great band and an affordable ticket price.
White suits, shiny polyester shirts, Afros and gold chains for the men, combined with colorfully flowing dresses, cat suits, flippy hairdos and toe-killing platform shoes for the women, harkened back to the era of Saturday Night Fever and Studio 54.

The dance floor was packed throughout the night as guests boogied down to the sounds of Gypsy Lane, featuring musicians from The Village People. The hard working ladies of the Friends of Vero Beach Museum of Art committee organized the party, led by event chair Pat Marquis. Bill Bryant and Associates was the presenting sponsor, and the supporting sponsor was Vero Orthopedics and Vero Neurology. Funds raised benefit the Museum’s numerous educational programs.
