Harry Hileman “Skipper” Hauth Jr., 62, of Vero Beach, died Friday, July 31, 2009.
He was born Nov. 17, 1946, in Johnstown, Pa., and had been a resident of Vero Beach for 32 years, coming from Pittsburgh, Pa. He graduated from Mount Lebanon High School, Pa. Skipper loved listening to classical music, opera and talking books and was a fan of the Pennsylvania Pirates, Steelers and Penn State Nittnay Lions.
Survivors include his mother, Harriet Hauth-Marsh, of Vero Beach; and brother, Jay C. Hauth, of Tetonia, Idaho. Skipper was predeceased by his father, Harry Hileman Hauth Sr.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 4, at Christ by the Sea United Methodist Church, Vero Beach.
