VERO BEACH/SEBASTIAN — The Humane Society of Vero Beach and Indian River County’s two thrift shops need your clean, gently used items to support education and adoption efforts. Proceeds from the thrift shops are the single largest source of operating revenues for the Good Shepherd Haven of Hope Adoption, Education and Receiving Center. Items needed include: jewelry, clothing, household items, sporting goods, tools, furniture and knick-knacks. Pickup is available for large items and for a “house full” of donation items. Volunteers are also needed to work in both shops processing donations and assisting customers.
The thrift shops are located at:
4445 20th Street (next to Big Lots) in Vero Beach, (772) 567-2044.
441 Sebastian Blvd., Sebastian, (772) 589-0323.
Store hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays. Drop-off hours are 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays.
