Lois Joyce Kennedy Calahan, 94, Vero Beach
Lois Joyce Kennedy Calahan, 94, of Vero Beach, passed away on Friday, Sept. 29, 2018, at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born Oct. 28, 1923, in St. Louis, Mo., and moved to Vero Beach from her birthplace.
Lois was a very active member of First United Methodist Church, Vero Beach, where she was a volunteer for numerous outside missions.
Survivors include her sons, Michael (Joan), Timothy (Becky), Dennis (Peggie) and Corey (Lisa); daughters, Patricia (Michael) and Peggy (Jeff); 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Lois was predeceased by her husband, C. L. “Bud” Calahan, parents, Gladys & Lynn Kennedy, and brother, Gene Kennedy.
A Memorial Service will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 13, at First United Methodist Church.
