VERO BEACH — Beachland Elementary School, the only public elementary school on the barrier island, held its annual Spring Social fundraiser, called Island Oasis, at The Boulevard on Saturday, April 28.
The event was attended by over 125 parents, teachers, and community supporters including Mayor Howle. The event was catered by Counter Culture and had a silent and live auction which included items such as; Jr. Mayor for the Day, Chief of Police for the Day, and Principal for the Day.
Proceeds from this and past events have helped fund school programs including technology, playground enhancements, and the hydroponic tower gardens. Many thanks to the event sponsors and event chair, Amanda Kross.
