Awesome red autos pop at McKee’s Motor Car Exhibition

Car enthusiasts who flocked to the historic McKee Botanical Garden recently were seeing ‘red’ during its 16th annual Motor Car Exhibition. Nestled among the garden’s 10,000 tropical plants and trees were 40 classic and contemporary red cars of all makes and models, plus a smattering of motorcycles. Although the vibrant shades of vermillion would normally be in striking contrast to the garden’s lush greenery, it is currently awash in vibrantly colored sculptures. McKee is hosting Sean Kenney’s Nature POP exhibition, which features more than 40 Lego sculptures made from some 800,000 pieces. One of the standouts in the vivid collection is a majestic fire-engine-red lion, the inspiration for the red cars. The Nature POP exhibition is on display through May 4.
