Vero Beach, FL – Mark your calendars for the week of January 20, 2025, as Grand Harbor Golf & Beach Club proudly hosts the prestigious 2025 Vero Beach International Tennis Open, a premier event on the US Tennis Association Women’s Pro Circuit. This world-class tournament will feature top female tennis professionals from over 30 countries, competing for a $75,000 prize and critical WTA ranking points. This year, 36 of our former VBITO players competed in the U.S. Open. Most notable was Emma Navarro, our 2023 finalist, reaching the semifinals and now ranked #8 in the world! As one of only ten tournaments of this caliber in the country, this event provides unmatched excitement and elite competition. As the largest professional sporting event in the County and boasting over 5,000 spectators, the energy is unparalleled.
Beyond tennis, the week will be packed with a variety of social events for everyone to enjoy:
- Opening Ceremony (January 21): Join us for the official opening with a performance of “The Star-Spangled Banner.”
- Fashion Show and Dinner (January 22): Members and guests are invited to a glamorous evening showcasing stylish selections from local boutiques.
- Art Show (January 23): Tournament ticket-holders can enjoy a complimentary professionally curated art show, featuring stunning works from Grand Harbor’s talented members. Enjoy complimentary wine and hors d’oeuvres.
- Pro-Am Tournament (January 23): Play alongside the pros in a fun-filled event.
- Kids’ Day (January 24): Children under 13 can participate in a free kids’ tournament, complete with t-shirts, surprise gifts, and the chance to play with professionals.
- PCA Car Show (January 25): The Porsche Club of America treats all to beautiful new and antique examples of this classic car.
- Grand Dinner Dance (January 25): Cap off the week with a festive Grand Dinner Dance, featuring live entertainment. Last year, Ivan Lendl shared wonderful memories and insights. This year will feature yet another legend, to be announced at a later date.
