VBMA Breaking News: Supermodel & Entrepreneur Christie Brinkley to Headline “Fashion Meets Art” Fundraiser at Vero Beach Museum of Art

VERO BEACH, FL—The Vero Beach Museum of Art (VBMA) has announced that Christie Brinkley, renowned as one of the world’s most iconic supermodels, will headline its “Fashion Meets Art fundraising event on Wednesday, February 19, 2025.

Ms. Brinkley’s enduring career as a model, entrepreneur, and actress spans five decades. She has graced the covers of hundreds of magazines, including multiple issues of VogueLifeGlamour, and Cosmopolitan; three consecutive covers of the annual Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue; and as a brand ambassador for CoverGirl for over 25 years. In 2020, Ms. Brinkley launched a successful organic prosecco and zero-sugar brand, Bellissima, and recently introduced her line of apparel, TWRHLL.

Ms. Brinkley’s career includes memorable film and television appearances, including as Chevy Chase’s dream girl in National Lampoon’s Vacation and as the subject of Billy Joel’s music video for the chart-topping hit “Uptown Girl.” She made her Broadway debut as Roxie Hart in the musical Chicago and performed in its national tour and on London’s West End. She had a talk show on CNN and recurring roles on NBC’s Parks and Recreation and ABC’s The Goldbergs.

Established in 2018, “Fashion Meets Art has quickly become one of Indian River County’s most sought-after season events. Past presenters include Simon Doonan, Jonathan Adler, Hal Rubenstein, Kim Alexis, Christian Siriano, Badgley Mischka, and Tim Gunn.
