Fort Pierce, Florida, May 30, 2024 –

Manor Auctions Florida, known for showcasing exceptional works of art by A.E. Backus and the Florida Highwayman, is proud to once again host a special segment at their upcoming auction event to benefit the A.E. Backus Museum & Gallery. An exclusive segment will feature two rare bottles of Buffalo Trace Kentucky Straight Bourbons donated by Buffalo Trace Distillery. This exclusive opportunity will take place during Manor’s popular Monthly Art Auction on June 22, 2024 starting at 1:00 pm, in Vero Beach and online.

Buffalo Trace Distillery announced in September 2023 that it would be offering “100 Bourbon Sets for 100 Charities” to honor the legacy of E.H. Taylor, Jr. (1830–1923), hailed as the “Father of the Modern Bourbon Industry” and an early owner of the distillery. 100 organizations across 36 states were selected to receive donation sets featuring some of Buffalo Trace’s most sought-after brands to bolster their nonprofit fundraising efforts. Among the other 99 organizations that are making strides in their communities, the A.E Backus Museum was selected to receive one of these exclusive sets which includes two premium bottles: a 2007 George T. Stagg and a 2011 William Larue Weller.

Buffalo Trace Distillery is a fully operational distillery producing bourbon, rye and vodka on site in Frankfort, Kentucky. The Distillery has won more than 40 distillery titles since 2000 and garnered more than 1,000 awards for its wide range of premium whiskies. Its George T. Stagg was named Best Bourbon Whiskey at the 2023 International Whiskey Competition (USA) and its W.L. Weller 12 YO received double gold at the 2023 International Spirits Challenge, both included in the set which will be offered at Manor Auctions with the proceeds directly benefiting the Museum.

Manor Auctions continues to partner with the Backus Museum to offer these exclusive auction segments, each time offering new and exciting items to directly benefit the Museum.
