Book Review Breakfast Features Angie Bailey Reviewing Mrs. Obama’s ‘Becoming’

Dr. Angie Bailey, Professor of Business at Indian River State College, will review “Becoming” by Michelle Obama, at 9:30am on Monday, March, 6, in the Richardson Center of IRSC in Vero Beach.

A deeply personal account of the life of a wife, mother, attorney, and groundbreaking First Lady, “Becoming” explores the dilemmas every woman faces: how to keep your dreams from being dismissed, how to straddle different expectations, how to balance the worlds of family and work, when to step off a career path to embrace something new and more fulfilling. Mrs. Obama used her visibility as First Lady to bring attention to the needs of others.

Sponsored by the Vero Beach Branch of the American Association of University Women, the event is free and open to the public. A continental breakfast will be served. If you wish, you can bring children’s books to help stock the Little Free Libraries we maintain.
