The 18th Annual Navy SEAL Museum
Muster 5K Beach Challenge
Saturday, November 5, 2022
8:00 AM Start
Registration is now open for the most beautiful and patriotic event on the Treasure Coast this fall! Be a part of this time-honored tradition, this our 18th year running! Run or walk the original training grounds of the Navy Frogman, alongside many who have served. The Muster 5K brings out some of the most talented athletes–and it also hosts many of our military members, supporting this special event.
The Birthplace of Naval Special Warfare
The Museum tells the story of the Frogman from the beginning of Naval Special Warfare. The deeds and actions of the predecessors of today’s Navy SEALs established the benchmarks against which military Special Operations are measured today. Born on the beaches where the Navy SEAL Museum stands today in Fort Pierce, Naval Special Warfare produced tightly-knit groups of men who trained for war and took their skillset and determination around the world with one goal in mind: “Win at any cost.” They cleared the way for others to follow, doing so for the love of their teammates and their country. Today’s Navy SEALs continue to keep constant vigil around the globe, securing our safety and freedom.
Run with your teammates and friends on Saturday, November 5th beginning at 8:00 AM.
While you do not have to “win at any cost”, we encourage you to show your love for country by wearing your most patriotic athletic gear in honor of and support for our veterans everywhere.

On Race Day
The 3.1-mile course is an out-and-back on sand the whole way–and the rising or receding tide always presents an added surprise and challenge! There is a water station at the turnaround near the Fort Pierce Inlet.
The race starts and finishes on the beach in front of the National Navy SEAL Museum. You must be on the beach no later than 7:45 AM for the race start.
This is Daylight Savings Weekend, so the early morning is dark. Please plan accordingly.
Participants must park on the west side of A1A; there is no parking available in the Museum’s parking lot on race day.
Registration and bib pickup will close promptly at 7:30 AM on November 5 to ensure a timely race start.
All participants must sign our online waiver. Anyone under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian sign the waiver.
Please show our beach lifeguards your gratitude as they standby in the interest of the safety and support of all participants.
Per county rules and regulations, dogs are not allowed on the beach. We regret that you cannot run with your dog on the beach for this event and apologize for any inconvenience.
Due to the presence of military working dogs, outside animals are not permitted on Museum grounds at any time, with the sole exception of documented service animals. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
We look forward to seeing you on Saturday, November 5th!
