Timothy Bernard Riddlehoover, 66, Vero Beach
June 05, 1954 – March 16, 2021
Timothy Bernard Riddlehoover, age 66, of Vero Beach, passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital.
He was born in Sylacauga, AL and moved throughout North Dakota, Tennessee, Florida, and back to his birthplace prior to returning to Vero Beach 3 years ago to be near his kids.
Tim wore many hats from pastoring churches, delivering bread and milk, and eventually finishing his professional life as a registered nurse. By all accounts, Tim was incredibly caring, sensitive, and a great listener. He was the person many went to if they needed help sorting out their thoughts. In his spare time, he loved listening to music and sitting outside with his pets; two dogs and five chickens.
Tim was a graduate of Northwest Bible College in ND with a Bachelor’s in Theology and Hebrew Studies; later graduating from Coosa Valley School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse.
Tim is survived by his children, Joshua Riddlehoover, Bethany Riddlehoover, and Bonny Schwartz; grandchildren, Parker Clay, Piper Michelle, Orion Ridley, Aurora Elizabeth, Asher Wolfe, and Amara Rose. Tim also had two sisters, DeeDee Mathews and Kathy Riddlehoover; two brothers, Tony Riddlehoover and Paul Riddlehoover; and many nieces and nephews.
Tim was predeceased by his parents, Lewis Bernard and Doris Faye Riddlehoover.

Mrs. Denise Sherry Notaro, 62, passed away on March 26, 2021 in Barefoot Bay, Florida.
Denise was born in Newark, New Jersey and lived in Barefoot Bay, Florida.
She retired from medical field as a certified LPN.
Denise was a member of St. Luke Catholic Church in Micco, Florida.
During her life she had accomplished many great and wonderful things. An accomplishment that she was so fond of was that during her time as a youth she was named Homecoming Queen multiple times.
Survivors include mother Claudette Sherry of Toms River, New Jersey; son Frank McLaughlin (Kelly) of Toms River, New Jersey; brother Robert Sherry (Linda) of Marana, New Jersey; nephew Robbie Sherry; niece Jennifer Sherry, and two Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her caring husband Russell Notaro; kind brother David Sherry; and her loving father David Sherry.

Mrs. Estelle Annette Marcotte, 55, died March 15, 2021 at Sebastian River Medical Center in Sebastian, Florida.
She was born in Manchester, New Hampshire and lived in Fellsmere, Florida.
Survivors include her companion, Thomas Hadden of Fellsmere, FL; daughters, Crystal Lesperance of Manchester, New Hampshire and Chantel Lesperance and several grandchildren.

Richard Edward Prena Sr., 98, Sebastian
April 20, 1922 – March 29, 2021
Mr. Richard Edward Prena Sr., 98, passed away on March 29, 2021 in Melbourne, Florida.
Richard was born in Detriot, Michigan and lived in Sebastian, Florida coming from Miami, Florida.
He was an Army Air Force veteran and received numerous medals and accommodations to include the Silver Battle Star, Asiatic-Pacific Theater Ribbon, Philippine Liberation Ribbon, 4 Overseas Service Bars, 1 Service Stripe, and a Good Conduct Medal.
He retired from Eastern Airlines in 1981 as an Aviation Mechanic.
Richard was a member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church and attended faithfully.
He volunteered for the City of Sebastian in the Auxiliary Fire Department and volunteered as a driver for the emergency service (ambulance).
Survivors include daughters Connie Lane (Brian) and Shirley Hatch (Robert); sons Richard Prena Jr. (Sarah) and Thomas Prena of Sebastian; grandchildren Tony Ona, Ricky Ona, Christine Mancuso, Kelly Hatch, Victoria Weilert, Samatha Brown and Jorden Brown; and nine Great-Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife Jerri Prena and his parents Edward and Irene Prena.

Darlene “Nee” Denman Coulling, 87, Fort Pierce
April 13, 1933 – March 23, 2021
Darlene “Nee” Denman Coulling, 87, passed away on March 23, 2021. She was a resident of Spanish Lakes in Ft. Pierce, Fl.
Darlene was born in Ohio on April 13, 1933 to Annabelle and William Denman. She graduated from Hackensack High School in New Jersey and went on to graduate from the Katharine Gibbs Secretarial School. Darlene married the love of her life, James Coulling, in 1975 in Glastonbury, CT. She worked at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft in East Hartford, CT for over 25 years before she and James retired and relocated to Ft. Pierce, FL.
Darlene was an active member and volunteer at The Community Church of Vero Beach FL. She was a member of the Red Hat society and made a point to attend every one of her grandchildren’s events as they grew up. She was also an avid artist and leaves behind many beautiful paintings of landscapes from her lifetime.
Darlene is survived by her son Brad Strella and her stepchildren, Roger Coulling, Robin Carlough, and Colace Ucci. She is also survived by her two grandchildren, Taryn & Drew, six step-grandchildren and eight step-great-grandchildren.
There will be a private ceremony for the family.

Eleanor “June” Curtiss, 90, Vero Beach
November 03, 1930 – March 11, 2021
Eleanor “June” Curtiss, 90, passed away in Vero Beach, Florida, on March 11, 2021, following a brief hospitalization. She was born in Elmira, NY and lived in the area until retiring in 1987 and moving to Florida. She married Leland “Bud” Curtiss on August 27,1949. They celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary in 2019.
She is survived by sons, Gary Curtiss (Barbara) of Seven Lakes, NC and Frank Curtiss (Jennifer) of Carrollton, TX; daughter-in-law Nichola Curtiss, of Hammondsport, NY; 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Thomas Curtiss who passed away in 1976; by her husband who passed away on December 31, 2019; and by her son David Curtiss, who passed away on May 12, 2020.
Eleanor was a wonderful conversationalist whose most important things in life were family and friends. Throughout her and Bud’s lives, wherever they lived and wherever they went, they made friends. In every place they lived, Eleanor created a community – Elmira, Big Flats, Spanish Lakes, The Woodlands, Sonata. She was famous for her rummage sale skills. She included family and friends in all her plans. Until she retired at the age of 83, Eleanor spent much of her life bringing music to the churches she served and to hundreds of piano and organ students, many of whom went on to have successful careers in music. Throughout her life Eleanor was active in local music organizations. Eleanor and Bud were blessed to have wonderful neighbors and friends who enabled them to live independently in their Vero Beach home until December of 2019.
A memorial service will be held at noon, Friday, April 23, 2021 at the Community Church in Vero Beach. The service will be live streamed.
Eleanor’s cremated remains will be interred with her husband’s in Woodlawn Cemetery in Elmira, NY, next to their son, Thomas.
