Laszlo Kozmer, 81, of Sebastian, passed away Sunday, February 21, 2021 at Consulate Healthcare of Vero Beach.
Laszlo was born June 27, 1939 in Hungary.
He had worked as a transport driver for the Veteran’s Administration.
Laszlo is survived by his three sons, Jim Kozmer, Harold Kozmer, and Paul Kozmer; his daughter, Bonnie Brady; as well as grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Laszlo was predeceased by his wife, Jacqueline and his son, Joseph.

Kimberly Kent Thorpe, 54, Vero Beach
May 25, 1966 – February 20, 2021
Kimberly Kent Thorpe, 54, passed away February 20, 2021.
Kimberly was born in Louisville, KY May 25, 1966. Kimberly attended St Raphael Catholic Grade School in Louisville, KY and graduated from John Carroll High School in Birmingham, Alabama. She graduated from the University of Alabama in Birmingham with degrees in both Philosophy and Psychology. After graduation Kimberly worked as a paralegal in Birmingham, Alabama at Parsons Lee Juliano Law Firm and later at the Page Law Firm. Kimberly moved to Vero Beach, FL after the death of her father, W Lynn Velde in 2000.
Kimberly was licensed as a Realtor in 2008, and as a Broker several years later. Kimberly proved to be a phenom in real estate, rising quickly to the top of her profession and was later part owner of Treasure Coast Sotheby’s International Realty, ultimately managing over 100 agents in two offices with her husband, Michael Thorpe. After selling the Business in 2019 to One Sotheby’s, Kimberly and Michael transitioned to top producing Real estate Broker associates.
Kimberly traveled extensively, enjoyed Broadway Theater, fine dining, fashion, and rock concerts, the Rolling Stones being her favorite. She was full of tenacity, charm and grace and was successful at whatever she took on. She helped others in need and made legions of lifelong friends everywhere she has lived. Her love of animals led to a position on the Vero Beach Humane Society Board. She had an undying love for her son Harrison, whom she was so proud of. She loved attending his sporting events, basketball being her favorite, and frequented NBA basketball games together with him. Always a devoted mother, Kimberly was fortunate to have traveled with Harrison to the Bahamas, St Thomas, Cabo San Lucas, Paris, London, LA, Hawaii and more.
Kimberly is survived by her beloved son, Harrison Kent Hardin; her husband, Michael Thorpe, and his daughters Shannon and Rachel Thorpe, former husband Steve Hardin & his sons Christopher Lee Hardin and Andrew Steven Hardin, her mother Marilyn Velde, Uncle Joseph Wheeler (Linda) Uncle Bruce Wheeler (Judy) Aunt Charlene Browder (Fred), nieces and nephews Joan, Stephen and David Wheeler, Lisa Browder and Scott Wheeler, and of course her beloved dogs Henry, & Satchel, cats Spencer and Poppy.
Kimberly was preceded in death by maternal grandparents Mary Evangeline & Joseph Kent Wheeler.
A Private Family Service will take place at Strunk Funeral Home, with Holy Cross Catholic Church providing “Liturgy of the Word” Friday, February 26, 2021 3:00-4:00 pm.
Public Visitation will be held Friday, February 26, 2021 from 5:00-6:30 pm at Strunk Funeral Home, 916 17th St, Vero Beach, FL.
Masks and social distancing will be followed as per local guidelines.
Kimberly will be buried at Crestlawn Cemetery in Vero Beach, FL next to her father, W. Lynn Velde.
In lieu of Flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of Vero Beach 6230 77th St, Vero Beach, FL.
